Upcoming Release: Getsy

Getsy the cat is taking over Sites@Duke Pro! The beloved feline companion of Chris Meyer, senior director of Enterprise Systems & Support, this charming male mackerel tabby wandered into his family's lives and hearts six years ago. He's been bringing immense joy and laughter ever since... And now, he's also bringing a number of feature updates to Sites Pro!

Here's a sample of Getsy's gifts to us throughout the 2nd and 3rd Quarters of FY2025:

• Logic changes to site search and list page results filtering, to better align with popular best practices and improve findability of content
• Grid view option for News Lists, similar to those added to other list blocks in our Ryder release
• Optional pronouns field on Profiles, and content in the summary field will now display in People Lists 
• Manually editable "Additional Information" field on imported Events to include details specific to your site
• Resolution for a bug causing lists to display zero results for some users
• And... fingers crossed... a fix for those tricky Instagram embeds!

This adventurous little cat will also bring you the usual bug fixes, smaller enhancements, and Drupal core and infrastructure updates. If we're lucky, he might even sing to us or let us pet him as he makes muffins on his favorite pair of socks at bedtime.

Getsy is being rolled out seamlessly to all Sites@Duke Pro live, staging, and content/admin websites through April 2025. Details will be posted on this website and Microsoft Teams when Getsy is complete.
