What This Summer's Scholars@Duke Update Means for Your Site

The Scholars Profile content type and Publications Lists will be unaffected by changes

Sites@Duke Pro offers integrations with Scholars@Duke – through both Scholars@Duke Profiles (imported via feeds) and the Publications List content block.

Scholars@Duke will be launching a new interface this summer. In preparation for this transition, we have been coordinating with the Scholars team to ensure the continued operation of our Scholars integrations at launch. We have confirmed there is nothing site owners need to do to their Sites Pro sites when the new scholars.duke.edu goes live. Scholars Profiles (including feeds, individual profiles, and their corresponding list page) and Publications Lists will continue to work smoothly without interruption.

    Sites Pro sites will be seamlessly upgraded from Drupal versions 9 to 10 during the week of October 30, 2023. We expect little to no disruption of service for both site editors and end users.

    Sites@Duke Pro users are encouraged to attend one of two web accessibility refresher sessions this summer! Sites Pro websites already incorporate the latest standards in accessibility, but editors are still responsible for creating accessible content.
