"Enzo" Release Notes
This quarterly release includes the new Policy content type, plus a wide range of system improvements
The Enzo release was deployed to Sites@Duke Pro throughout the third quarter of Fiscal Year 2023 (January – March 2023). Enzo is named for the youngest member of Sites Pro team member David White's family, a smart and spirited Golden Retriever. Like his sisters Patch and Piper before him, Enzo includes a new content type and a number of technical and user experience updates.
Policy Content Type
Policies can be files uploaded to your site, or links to guidelines on your site or external sites – for example, you may want to link to a Handbook or Policy that lives on another Duke site. This new content type was designed based on real user content and customer feedback.
Users must have the Policy Creator and Policy Reviewer roles, and then they can access this feature by going to Content > Add Content in the Drupal admin menu.
A Policies List Page displays all policies at-a-glance, can be filtered by category and policy type, and lives at /policies by default. Activate your Policies list page at Structure > Site Information in the Drupal admin menu.
A Policy List content block highlights a short list of recent Policies, which can be filtered by 1 taxonomy term, as seen below.
Other Notable Enzo Updates
- Integration with third-party service Cvent, which can now be embedded in a Page using the iFrame content block
- Code updates to improve accessibility and search engine optimization (SEO), particularly focusing on Scholars Profiles and search results
- User interface and styling tweaks for better usability and consistency
- Bug fixes
- Infrastructure upgrades (e.g., React v18, Gatsby v5)
Training documentation for these updates is available on userguide.sitespro.duke.edu. Please contact us with any questions!
Also, you can submit new feature ideas for consideration through our New Feature Request process.
